MOORHEAD — The city-wide ban on flavored tobacco products has one local business saying that the ban may force it to close its Moorhead headquarters.

According to Northland Vapor Company, flavored products account for close to half its sales. The company is worried that that keeping the Moorhead location open after the ban may be financially impossible.

“Our business model is not based on losing 55% of our sales so economically, it makes no sense to keep this location open,” said Northland Vapor owner Brad Erpelding.

Northland Vapor is based in Moorhead, but with also has locations in Fargo.
